This will be our 24th year of presenting awards that are recognised globally across the IP community. Today, an ACG award is a symbol of outstanding enforcement work across the UK and the rest of the world.
ACG awards recognise exceptional achievements in anti-counterfeiting during the preceding year, and provide a great opportunity to encourage public awareness of the vital part which trading standards and local enforcement play in the fight against the trade in fakes.
When announcing the winners and by celebrating the successes of the past year, it will help us to raise awareness of the current situation with targeted press releases, particularly in those areas that are suffering the most. With many of the awards now being presented locally, it will give us an additional opportunity to work with the local press and engage with MP’s and local government.
